Led the redesign and industrialisation of the Shelterbox, an embedded appliance that analyses and filters network traffic in real time. Starting from a non-optimised V1, I designed a scalable architecture and reworked the whole chain.

• Architecture: a new software architecture for the Shelterbox, optimised for performance and adaptability.
• Backend and system: APIs, system scripts, a kernel-level firewall in Lua, a Debian repository with custom packages.
• High-performance module: a Go module analysing network traffic within microseconds.
• Web interface: migrated the configuration UI from Vue.js to React and Next.js.
• Automation: CI/CD pipelines and workflows, accelerating development cycles and making the code reliable.

Go, Lua, Bash, kernel-level development, Debian packaging, React, Next.js, CI/CD. Significantly lower latency, a more reliable and maintainable product, and a sharper sense of architecture and DevSecOps, plus the habit of defending technical choices within a distributed team.

Spearheaded several experiments involving diverse AI algorithms for time-series analysis. My role was to innovate and develop AI models tailored to specific requirements: conceptualising and initiating an innovation track of a global project, covering both technical development and strategic planning. Continuous training in data science and mathematics for machine learning, extensive literature reviews, and the key challenge of turning theory into models that are effective on real-world problems.

Developed the second version of a roadmap tool guiding companies towards eco-friendlier IT practices. Converted the existing PHP project to object-oriented PHP, reducing server requests, improving performance and lowering CO₂ emissions; designed low-impact UI/UX; built a mini PHP framework with an ORM; wrote in-depth technical and design documentation.
